The STATUS
of the 7th International Festival "Moscow Meets Friends" in 2010
The 7th International Festival "Moscow Мeets Friends" will take place in Moscow (May. 21 - June. 2), 2010.
The organizer is the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation.
Organizers of the Festival: The festival is organized by the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation with the participation of Moscow Government and the Department of Culture of Moscow with the support of: Administration of the President of Russia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Culture of Russia, United Nations, UNESCO and other agencies and organizations. The body of the Festival Organizing Committee includes prominent politicians, public figures, representatives of the arts and culture.
Expected results: - More than 20 thousand people will be able to visit festival events. At least a million people will see broadcasts of the Festival on the Internet and read publications about it; - Festival should make a significant impact on the public opinion in favor of the development and promotion of charity. The Festival will attract attention to disadvantaged children, the organization of their support. This Festival would influence the character building and regeneration of the nation.
Financing of the participants of the festival will be provided as follows: transfer from the airport (railway station) to the hotel and back, accommodation and meals during the stay in Moscow, transfer from a hotel to the place of performance and back. Travel to Moscow and back is paid by participants.
The categories of participants:Age under 18 years. Soloists, ensembles, creative teams. Specializations: musicians, vocalists, choirs, dancers, painters, circus arts.
To participate in the festival you must meet certain conditions.
I. You must present to the Organizing Committee the following materials before 15 March, 2010:
1. Completed application form of the participant is to be e-mailed or passed directly to the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation. The application form is on the website of the Foundation: www.spivakov.ru
2. A videotape or DVD is to be mailed or passed directly to the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation. The recording duration must be within 10-30 min. The recording must be made not earlier than half a year ago. The materials are neither reviewed, nor returned back.
3. Participant’s photo (not less than 10x15) must be sent by e-mail or forwarded to the Foundation.
II. Before April 17, 2010 the Festival Organizing Committee will send you an invitation to the Festival, as well as details of your participation (the date of the event, place, time, name, etc.).
III. By April 25, 2010, you are to send to the Festival Organizing Committee the final confirmation of your acceptance of the conditions of participation in the Festival (by e-mail or directly to the Spivakov Charity Foundation).
